My sweet,sweet family

Hi, It's me again!. Today, I`m going to talk a little about me and my family.

Well, my nuclear family is not big. I only have one sister, her name is Karina. She`s married but she has no children. She lives in Barranquilla with her husband Ariel. They work with a pharmaceutical company. My mom, Gladys, lives in Barranquilla, too. She is 71 years old. She is retired. She`s a very hardworking and honest woman. I love her very much!. My father passed away 4 years ago. He was a very smart and lovely man. He's the person I admire the most. I also have an aunt who is like my mother, her name's Carmen. She lives in Bogotà. she`s very strict, but she loves my sister and I a lot.

I have two children , Karl and Nicole Katrina. They live with their mother. I see them on the weekends. My new wife is Adriana, she's expecting a baby. That means , I'm going to be a father again. I think he's going to be a boy. His name's going to be Adrian Josè or Hillary if it's a girl.

All right, that`s my family. Can you tell me about your family?

My trip to Lorica.

I had a wonderful time in Lorica last easter. It was fantastic!. I left on Wednesday. A friend of mine drove me and my girlfriend to a gas station like an hour away from Lorica. Then I took a bus that was full of people and animals (chikens, hens, roosters, pigs and parrots) It was a real adventure for a city boy like me!. After a 30-minute ride, We got off and had to take another bus to Lorica. When I got to Lorica my girlfriend told me that her family didn't live in Lorica but in a small village near the town. Therefore, we had to take another bus to the entrance of the village. There, my uncle's girlfriend drove us to the village, but guess what? when we were in the village I realized that our trip hadn't finished yet. We had to cross the Sinu river on a little, well not little. Tiny actually!
This was a little scary at the beginning. However, after coming and going many times, I got used to it. I even once crossed the river a little drunk and at night.
This trip was pretty relaxing. I really had a great time with my girlfriend an her family. By the way, I always slept in a Hammock!
I really hope to comeback soon and eat turtle again.

Gran Combo de Puerto Rico

Last Saturday was absolutely fantastic! One of my dreams came true. I was in the Gran combo's dressing room. I had the opportunity to talk to them for an hour. I had been to a couple of their concerts and I had even once taken a photo with Charlie Aponte ( his greatest singer of all times) but, I had never had the chance to talk to them personally. Well, this was the time. I could achieve an "every salsero's dream" : to share a moment with the greatest salsa group of all times "The University of La Salsa, El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico".

I talked to Rafa Ithier (the director), I also talked to the singers (Charlie Aponte, Papo Rosario and Jerry Rivas). and the best of all; I could take pictures with each and all of them. It was a magic night that I'll never forget.
